Our Live Edge tables are made from locally sourced native Oklahoman hardwood slabs. Each slab is unique in size and character. The bark is meticulously scraped off the lumber without affecting the natural beauty of the edge. Like all of our other furniture, our live edge furniture is custom hand stained. The term “live edge” refers to the fact the wood was not cut in a straight lined during a short run through the mill. Natural edge pieces are handled with care to ensure the curve of the tree’s natural edge is preserved, resulting in a rustic, one-of-a-kind piece. As a result, there will be wide variances in our live edge furniture pieces.
